The workshop is based in my studio in the Baltic Triangle, Liverpool. We will start at 12:30pm until 5pm, with a couple of breaks throughout for refreshments. Lunch is not provided, but snacks and drinks are. You are welcome to bring your lunch with you. Please arrive slightly before 12:30 so we can start on time.

You'll be provided all oil painting materials, subject matter, a canvas, and advice from me, all for £69.99 per person.

We will be learning how to paint a seascape using a palette knife and oil paint. This is perfect for those who have some painting experience, although it is not essential. If you have never used oils before, I will send you some info before the class and take you step by step in the class, so don't worry!

 I have years of experience painting with oils (it is my main medium) and am completely self taught. So I will bring to you everything I have learnt so far in my career as an artist.

I will take you through exampels of palette knife paintings, colour mixing, how to find balance in your painting, creating layers, texture and different techniques all with a palette knife, to create a beautiful textured seascape.

The workshop will be perfect for both those who have attended CC's Hidden Art Club evenings and workshops previously and wish to develop what they have already learnt, as well as for beginners to have a chance to really get involved in the process of painting and take their time learning new skills.

​

It will be a lovely day to expand your creativity in a social and laid-back atmosphere. At the end of the day, you will leave having learnt something new, made friends with members of the group, and have a painting on canvas to be proud of.
